As colleges and universities are starting up soon for most, now is a great time to start planning activities! Outdoor fun activities are great for the beginning of the school year.
I would like to share some ideas that go over well and are most popular!
For nighttime:
- -Outdoor movies! Students can get cozy on a blanket with a favorite outdoor movie on the quad. Or football field. Add the popcorn for an authentic movie night!
- -Glow mini golf! Always popular and fun! Add a DJ. Some glow sand art, bracelets and glow sticks and you have a full- blown Glow Party!
- -Glow sports parties! Take your everyday arcade style games like air hockey and foosball and make them GLOW! Add a DJ. Some glow sand art, bracelets and glow sticks and you have a full- blown Glow Party!
Daytime:
- -Pumpkin Painting-decorate small pumpkins with all kinds of paints and designs! Great for family weekends, homecomings, sibling’s weekends and fall fests, too!
- -Outside on the green! A day of laid back, lawn games, giant games, and table games are always fun.. From Giant Jenga to giant chess, foosball tables, air hockey, skeeball, basketball toss and more..they can all be done outside. Add some takeaways like spin art frisbees so student can also play while you are having your event!
- -Human foosball! Looking for a multi-player item? Try human foosball, bubble (bump) soccer or Laser tag!
- -Old fashioned Carnival…carnival tents, games and prizes…you can never go wrong with those! Add some fun foods, like cotton candy and a high striker and you have an instant carnival!
