Quick answer
How do Reading hosts know if skating will fit?
If the Reading floor cannot clear skating, do not promise it. Keep Craps as a side station and skip inventing a smaller rink size.
Browse the portable ice rink rentals hub or open the ice skating rental product page for the published footprint and skate sizes.

Reading ice skating rentals to put on the quote
The rink package is shared. The Reading row under it is not. Those rentals are Craps, Inflatable Photo Booth, Cookie Art, and Roulette.
Ice Skating Rink
Staffed synthetic rink. The product page lists a 40 by 60 foot surface and skates from toddler size 8 through adult size 13.
Craps
A craps table only if the room can give it a clear standing edge. Place it off the skate entrance.
Inflatable Photo Booth
Inflatable LED booth from the photo catalog, separate from the rink. Say so on the date request if the room is tight.
Cookie Art
Cookie decorating at a seated table, not a photo backdrop. Tell us the guest ages if this station is for families.
Roulette
A single roulette table, not a full pit. Keep its line from crossing the rink path.

Local event planning
Reading timeline and layout notes for the rink
A tight Reading room can still work if you drop skating and keep Craps. Say that before the date is announced. Indoor rooms work when the floor is flat and the ceiling clears the setup.
Keep food off the active edge
Serving tables should not spill into the skate path.
Write the hard out
Put the Reading start and end on the request so setup and pickup use the same window.
Name the age mix
Toddler size 8 through adult size 13 travel with the package. Ages help staff the Reading sizing tent. One contact on site is more useful than a landmark.
Confirm the flat floor
Concrete, asphalt, or a gym floor can work in Reading. Soft lawn without a firm base is a no.
Event ideas
How Reading hosts use the rink plus one side station
Community winter night
Staffed skating plus Craps gives Reading guests a glide and a second finish.
Town festival
A portable rink becomes the Reading centerpiece when the pad is flat and fenced. Craps sits outside the skate path.
School winter program
Families in Reading need a stop after the program. Craps works as that stop when it is seated away from the doors.
Company holiday party
A rink keeps the Reading celebration in the same building as dinner. Craps covers guests who are not skating.
FAQ
Ice skating rental questions for Reading, PA
What does a Reading, PA rink request need?
The useful Reading request names the hours, the address, the ages, and the rink. Craps is a separate line, not the starting point.
How large is the synthetic rink package?
The ice skating product page describes a 40 by 60 foot synthetic surface. If the Reading room is tighter, say so before the date is held instead of inventing another size.
Do toddler and adult skates come with the rental?
Yes. Toddler through adult sizes are part of the package on the product page. Note ages on the Reading quote.
Is rink staff included for Reading?
Yes. Rink staff are included with the published package. Craps is a separate rental if you want it beside the skate path in Reading.
Will the rink work outside at a Reading site?
Temperature is not the limiter. Flat ground and barricade space are. Say whether the Reading site is indoors or outdoors.
Is a Reading nickname enough for rink delivery?
A city name is not a stop. The truck needs the Reading street address, door notes, and someone to meet the crew.
