1. Plan way in advance. Spring is a busy time of year for event companies and lots of stuff gets booked up quickly, so don’t wait with reaching out to event companies. Also, if you are new to programming a campus-wide event find a company that will help guide you through what you might need.
2. Get proper insurance. Make sure that the party provider has the right insurance and can additionally insure your school at NO CHARGE. Most companies are able to do that!
3. Have an Electric Backup. Play it safe and have the company bring generators with them! The worst thing is when you planned for a great party and the food does not cook or the inflatables deflate and your spin art does not spin!
